 
The
U14 boys team competed in the EPYSA Challenge Cups this spring. The boys won their
bracket by beating Newtown Sharks 2-1, Plymouth Lightning 7-1 and tying Lower
Dauphin 1-1. They then moved on to the quarter finals to beat Marple Newtown 1-0
in an exciting game. The semi-finals also proved to be a tough challenge but the
team stepped up with another 1-0 win. Off to the finals to play Buckingham United.
After 70 minutes of play and a 0-0 tie, they moved on to 20 minutes overtime but
still no score. The teams moved on to penalty kicks to determine the champion.
The Stunner boys prevailed with a 3-2 win in PK's giving them the state title.
The team is coached by Jeorge, Nicholas & George Jr Severini. Congratulations
to the Stunners for all their hard work this spring.
